Our Non-Handed Intermediate Pivot is intended for doors taller than 83” that require additional support to keep the middle of the door in line with the pivots at the top and bottom. For use on both flush face frame installations and 1/8” recessed door applications. The pivots cannot be used on center hung doors. Suitable for aluminum doors weighing up to 125 pounds. Intermediate Pivots are similar to offset pivots, but are required for doors that are above 83 inches in height that require extra support. These pivots provide assistance to offset pivots to help insure that proper alignment for your door is kept throughout its usage. Although they cannot be center hung, intermediate pivots are also great for any heavy-weight doors and come in a variety of finishes.
